We passionately believe that all children should be able to have a tasty, nutritious meal at school every day, and so we are delighted to let you know that all our school meals are cooked fresh on site by our own catering team.
Universal Infant Free School Meals
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for Universal Infant Free School Meals, meaning they can have school dinners at no cost. Once children start Year 3, school dinners are charged at £2.75 per day, which should be paid online via MCAS (our parent app).
MCAS is our main communication and payment method, including dinner money payments. You can access via the internet, or App. Please see the guide below, or visit the School Office for support.

Packed Lunches
Alternatively you may provide your child with their own healthy packed lunch. Children are welcome to change between packed lunches and school lunches freely.
Parents who would like their children to have a packed lunch at dinnertime should provide a healthy lunch that does not include crisps, chocolate, sweets , fizzy drinks or fruit juice. A drink of water is available for all children at lunchtime and throughout the day.
Water
Children can bring their own water bottle to school daily.
MILK AND FRUIT
Currently, all children in Key Stage One and Foundation Stage have access to a free piece of fruit or vegetable every day as part of the government’s healthy eating programme.
Free and subsidised milk is provided throughout the school by the ‘Cool Milk’ company. Parents are requested to register their child at www.coolmilk.com. Under 5’s and children eligible for free school meals are entitled to a free 189ml carton of milk daily once registered.
